Unexpected 29Darkness, darkness, a crushing wind and Daiki's screaming were the only things registering in Ichiros senses as the two of them fell. Well, that and the pain in his hand as it throbbed. He WOULD be getting back at that guy Kai for that.
"DAIKI! GRAB ONTO ME!" Ichiro shouted beginning to grope the black with his right hand. He took the sudden silence as what was probably a skeptical glare. He ignored it and grabbed onto what he could only hope was Daiki's shirt and drew his sword with his left hand pointing it downward.
"HONOO!" Fire ran down the length of his blade before erupting into a large pillar stopping the two men from falling. They hovered in the air and Ichiro gave a large laugh.
"Hey, you ok man?"He asked looking down at Daiki who hung below him by the grip Ichiro had on his shirt.
Daiki finally stopped screaming long enough to look around and get his mind to register that they were no longer falling. He cleared his throat before he spoke.
This means war 1Now, I want you to look deep into your minds. Think hard about the worst horror slasher, murder movie ever. You know the kind, with the predictable teenagers who all do stupid things that leads to their ultimate and bloody demise. Think of the psychotic killer and their sick twisted methods. Got it in your mind? Good. Now multiply that but 40 and you STILL wouldn't have what lies within my cousin Sky's deeply dark, sick, twisted subconscious.
Let me explain to you all at the risk of sounding like a god modder. I am along with being a siren, a lycan, a vampire, a dream stalker (which is the main point to this story.) And, newly discovered, a magic Dweller, some sort of mix between a wizard and I think a fairy. Just for the record, I didn't bestow these abilities upon myself. I'm first and foremost a dream stalker. A 'rare' being who can traverse thorough the minds and deepest secret dreams of anyone I please. Great right? WRONG! Because I can go into just about anyone's mind, I can al
Unexpected 28"Well, this will just not do." Sheishi said annoyed as she looked at the small monitor on the wall. She ignored Nanamis screams of pain as more of the poison was injected in her system.
"WILL YOU SHUT HER UP?!" She shouted down at the man in the lab coat holding the capsule to collect her spiritual pressure. "I'm trying to think and she's giving me a headache!"
She sat down on the plush sofa. Sending Kai to take care of these Shinigami pests had been a mistake. Again she turned her attention back to the monitor on the wall and picked up the remote. Pressing the buttons, she got a new view of each of the 2 teams.
"All he'd managed to do was take out two of them." She muttered aggravated. "And one of them had been Daiki! UGH!" She groaned rubbing her temples. She took a deep breath and stood up smoothing down the front of her dress.
"I can see that if I want someone murdered right, I'll have to do it myself."
Drazon walked as quickly and quietly as he could, Aisu right behind him. She
Unexpected 27"Move it!" Drazon shouted as more arrows rained from the sky. Asiu and Ichiro turned form their defensive positions knocking away as many arrows as they could as they began to follow.
More Quincygami appeared in the rafters above them and loaded their bows with an assortment of different blades.
Kyoya grabbed Ichigo by the by the back of his shirt and half dragged his bloodied body out of the range of fire.
"Thanks." Ichigo groaned as he got back on his feet and began to run on his own. Kyoya grunted in response as an arrow whizzed past his head.
"Guys that way MOVE It!" Aisu shouted as she slashed her sword through the air sending a large wave of ice at their attackers freezing them to the ceiling.
"Where the hell is Daiki?!" Kyoya shouted as they ran for the large stone arch on the far end of the room.
"I don't know!" Ichiro shouted gathering fire along the length of his blade and slashing at the closest Quincygami to him. "But there's no time we've got to move!" He dropped his attac
For the ZutariansIt was an interesting battle.
Fun all the way.
To all the Kataangers,
I just wanted to say.
Here's a congratulations,
The battle is won.
But we Zuatarians still rule
Cause we've got MAKO AND KORRA NOW SON!
Oh shut itI swam to the surface of the ocean finding myself drifting in the waves. The warm air felt nice on my face and the gentle breeze slowly pushed the storm clouds away.
The night sky looked so beautiful after a storm. I blinked myself out of my half trance and looked around. I was there for a reason . Mainly because I was lost. Where had Walter said to go? I looked around and saw a large peaked mountain in the distance.
'Oh.' I thought. Maybe I wasn't as lost as I'd thought. I dove back under the water and began swimming in that direction jumping out of the water a few moments later and diving back in just for the heck of it. There were no humans around.
I swam through the seaweed and shoved past the rocks looking for the underground entrance. Luckily for me, it was tricky to find.
But there it was, wedged between a large rock and the sunken remains of a few ships. I'd definitely have to explore those later.
I squeezed in between the rock and found myself in a large dark r
I hope you realize...There's nothing more freeing than gliding through the water feeling weightless; as if you were flying. That's the best feeling in the world. Then again being a siren, I am a bit biased~
The people were in an uproar as the merwoman floating before me held up a Barbie doll with a fake mermaid tail smiling at us from behind the plastic.
I face palmed. Here we go again.
I heard my advisor Walter muffle a laugh behind my throne.
"The humans know of us! They know of our legacy! Our customs!" The woman continued. She pulled out a DVD copy of The Little Mermaid and held it up for all to see.
"They've turned it into a film! A franchise no less! Your highness we must prepare for war."
I held up my hands causing the people in my throne room to become silent. I waited until I had their absolute attention before I went once again in the explanation I was so tired of giving.
"Everyone! I ask you all to remain calm! I live amongst the human's everyday! They know nothing of our existence!
Unexpected 26'Today's the day.' Drazon thought as he paced his office. The hidden squad grounds were unusually silent as all the members of his squad were waiting for him at the designated place in the world of the living.
He looked around the room as the sun rose gradually bathing everything in light. He wondered he'd failed. How he'd managed to lose one girl. But there wasn't any time to think about that. He and the group were departing at 8:00 shard, and it was already 7:10.
He stopped at the door. He couldn't do it. He turned back and grabbed his abandoned haori that hung over the back of his office chair. It was still stained, but no mission would be complete without it. As he shrugged it on, something fell from one of the pockets and hit the floor beginning to roll away. He snatched it up and looked down at the tide stain stick with a sigh.
Well, what did he have to lose?
Aisu crossed her arms impatiently watching the Soul Reapers of Squad 12 scurry here and there on the roof of
Fallen Prologue Sophia looked through the telescope tracing the outline of the constellations. Hercules, The Northern Crown and The Scorpion were so far her favorites. The crisp mountain air felt nice on her face, and the slight breeze helped her from becoming too hot as she looked in between her Kindle for the directions of the next constellation and her telescope.
Something shot through the sky causing her to do a double take at the telescope lens. Was that . A green comet? Quickly she pulled her laptop to her and did a quick Google search. The results began popping up one right after the other and she clicked the most promising looking link with a picture next to an article.
She looked back through the telescope to make sure her eyes weren't just playing tricks on her. And yet, the comet was still there and it seemed to be .bigger?
'That can't be right.' She looked at the name of the green star; Comet Lulin. She then proceed
Change this lifeHiding in the shadows
Resisting in secrecy
Trying to find a way
To change this life of misery
The future is unknown
The past is to forget
The present is dull and boring
Is this what life has to offer?
I want to change
And I keep trying
Only to fail miserabily
Every single time
eight ways you've made me small1. I wish
this was for you.
2. my journal pages - the
brown one with all our monologues -
were jarred with hollow vows of
last poems of
letting you slip into a coma
of bad memories, watching you
fall to your death off
a cascading cliff of disease
and dis ease.
it was never
easy for me
3. there's a reason I ask
whether you're grey
(dark white, elusively black, in between)
or blue (behind the clouds, under wave-foam,
whateverthefuck runs through the back of my
palms); I'd rather have
than the arms
that once held you half-
heartedly. you had always been
my harmony and I
would have killed
to have been yours.

5. disasters are not beautiful,
but how is it that you
managed to make my inner linings
converge into bows
and explode into wings the very
night you decided to rebuild your walls
to a lower height?

Whenever I hurt myselfI have a feeling
Someone is watching
So I look around

I am a wordworker, with my tools too crude, forming
rough-edged carvings painted with pretty imagery.
Notebooks scattered across the landscape
of a child's room, to be stumbled across,
read, red-penned, in the thick and choking breath of night.
When the bough breaks
a hanged man laughs. He carries typewriters
in his pockets, and cigarettes in the soles of his shoes.
I will never be a word mistress,
whoring myself to the speech of people I do not know and will never know me.
The oven is set to Fahrenheit 452, but the words were already aflame

ExpirationWith you I always feel like I’m
to break in the wrong size of shoes.
Sometimes I sit and stew
over how you’re seventeen and
you think I’m a princess
the trapped-in-a-tower kind
and how you wear suits and talk about politics
and think you know the world.
My throat interrupts with an affronted gurgling sound
sometimes when I think about you,
you deal out advice where it just isn’t called for
you quote science-fiction to justify war
and you’re seventeen years old and you think I’m a princess
and you just have no blooming idea.
Darling, one of these days I will tell you my mind
But until then we’ll never fit
I’m afraid –
that even after that day
you’ll still be trimmed hedges and
when i stimulated the prayers of rib-beat
when i licked the temple of my teeth,
speed pushed my fingers shaped like confessionals
clasped holy, carved my throat to fixing-
lover; i did this for the anthem of your eyes,
the feel of strangled feet crushing the fame of stars
for the glow of streetlight worship, for the moons
of your crooning throat, for the halls of your arms,
the strayed revels of your arms,
lover: you manufactured a god out of the drugs i used
and had me addicted to the divine, to the dignity of music
you pressed in my direction: just what i am, hallelujah,
marijuana, day and night-
lover, i fell in love with your culture
that preached the real definition of dusked kneecaps,
the plea of closeted throats, the whisper of bless,
unlearning how to say please god in borrowed tongue,
i fell in love with your attention, with nervous grace
lover. i levied the rubble of my sins
Even The City KnowsIs it at all easy?
Being by yourself, I mean.
Sitting in a car, on a train, on a bus--wherever you might be now, isn't it hard to be a drifter?
There are no men with newspapers, no women with strollers, no love-crazy teenagers, no annoying toddlers, no anybody.
You stare out the window, like there are people out there, calling your name. The trees are out there, and they've lost all their leaves, all their buds--they've lost everything, just like you.
The sky is out there, and it's gray and colorless, just like you.
The stars are out there, and they're so blown-out-of-proportion, and they're just like you, too.
But the trees, the skies, the stars, they're used to being left alone.
You lack the ebullience of your drink, but it, too, is fading.
Frost has gathered on windows, on the ground, on rivers, everywhere.
Frost comes and goes, just like you, when you finally melt away.
The city draws to darkness and quiet--it disappears, just like you.
But, even frost
Death to the LoversHe screamed,
He tore his hair from his scalp;
But it didn't bring her back.
The beautiful girl
With the gorgeous smile
And witty remarks
Would always lay six feet under.
She would lie in her death bed,
Her arms folded on her chest
And her face full of peace
Known only to the dead.
He would be the first to rot.
First his health,
Then his sanity.
She would forever feed on his emotions
Like a pretty little leech,
Sapping his well being
And happiness from her underground world.
And he would let her,
For a fool like him
Who allowed himself to love,
FacadeDoes my mask have you all that fooled?
Do you think I can't feel pain?
That my body is made of an impenetrable shield of happiness?
I put on the mask and tie it tight.
Letting only a select few see behind it.
The smile is fake.
Obviously enough for you all.
It does its job. You never ask.
Day by day I wear it.
By night I take it off
And slowly fall apart.
